Craft Superintendent – E&I (Fort McMurray)

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

KBR is seeking a Craft Superintendent – E&I to be based at a project site in Fort McMurray. Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

·            Responsible for coordinating with the craft of their day to day activities primarily in the area of electrical and instrumentation

·            Working with the HSE Department and the Client to implement safe practices on the project site. 

·            Regular coordination with Sub-Contractors and the Client to keep updated of work progress.

·            Regular reviews of the schedule and implementation plan

·            Responsible for writing the daily and weekly progress reports.  

·            Working closely with QC on the daily issues and turnover.

 

 

REQUIREMENTS

 

·          Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills

·          Must be able to read structural drawings

·          Have a solid understanding of scheduling/planning

·          Some knowledge of the QC Turnover System

·          Minimum of 8 years’ experience with electrical/instrumentation

·          Ability to utilize computer

·          Good Communication skills to be able to interact with the craft and other management

 

This position is on a 14 and 7 rotation with camp accommodations and a per rotation travel allowance.
