KBR Industrial is currently seeking an HSE Coordinator to provide support to the Mod Yard 2 site personnel. Typical duties include implementing health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and guidelines for the employee and department safety. Creating incident reports and performing inspections to ensure conformity in all areas of HSE. Interacting with services personnel, clients, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to research and interpret standards, codes and regulations. Determining requisites for and organizing audits of company operated properties. Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and auditing standards. Assisting in development and implementation of systems and standards to facilitate the capturing and analysis of HSE statistics.
This position will be based on our Mod Yard 2 site in Edmonton, Alberta.
Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree and 2+ years of experience, or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree. Candidates should be able to work in a fast paced environment, be critical thinkers with excellent problem solving skills and communicate effectively. This role requires both working independently and within a team environment.
